This Disclaimer is part of the TrustyTommy Terms of Service.

The short version

Tommy is an AI program, not a person or licensed professional. Tommy can be helpful and can also be wrong. Verify important information. TrustyTommy is not an emergency, medical-monitoring, caregiver-monitoring, or fraud-guarantee service.

1. AI can make mistakes

AI output may be false, incomplete, outdated, biased, inconsistent, or based on a misunderstanding of your request. Confident wording does not mean an answer is correct.

Check important claims against qualified professionals, official sources, product labels, contracts, account statements, and other reliable evidence.

2. Tommy is not human

Tommy is software designed to communicate in a friendly, conversational style. Tommy does not have consciousness, emotions, personal memories, moral authority, or a personal relationship with you.

Saved details are data used for personalization. Tommy’s use of your name or recollection of a prior topic is not human memory.

Do not rely on Tommy as your only source of companionship, emotional support, safety, or decision-making. Maintain contact with trusted people and qualified professionals.

3. No emergencies or continuous monitoring

TrustyTommy does not watch users, listen continuously, monitor a home, or guarantee review of messages. It cannot reliably detect or respond to emergencies, falls, missed medication, worsening symptoms, abuse, fraud, fires, threats, or self-harm.

If there may be immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional instead of waiting for Tommy.

4. Medical and medication limitations

TrustyTommy does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, adjust medication, interpret symptoms with clinical authority, or replace a doctor, pharmacist, nurse, therapist, or other clinician.

Never start, stop, combine, split, or change medication based only on AI output. Follow the label and instructions from a prescriber or pharmacist. Medication reminders or confirmations are convenience tools and do not prove that the correct medication or dose was taken.

5. Mental-health limitations

TrustyTommy is not therapy, crisis counseling, or suicide-prevention care. It may fail to understand distress or respond appropriately. Seek immediate human help from local emergency services or a qualified crisis or mental-health professional when safety may be at risk.

6. Legal, financial, tax, and insurance limitations

TrustyTommy is not a lawyer, financial adviser, tax professional, accountant, insurance agent, or government representative. Laws, deadlines, forms, eligibility rules, prices, and financial conditions change. Verify them with an appropriate professional or official source.

Do not sign, file, pay, invest, borrow, cancel coverage, or waive a right based only on AI output.

7. Scam and suspicious-message review

Tommy can help identify warning signs but cannot certify that something is safe or fraudulent. Sophisticated scams can imitate trusted people and organizations.

Before clicking, paying, installing software, or disclosing information, independently contact the organization using a trusted number or official website you locate separately.

8. Photos, documents, and visual analysis

AI can misread objects, faces, text, medication labels, damage, plants, food, mail, receipts, and other visual information. Lighting, image quality, missing context, and model limitations can change the result.

Do not use TrustyTommy for identity verification, authentication, medical-image interpretation, legal-document certification, appraisal, structural-safety inspection, or any other use requiring a trained professional.

9. News, search, shopping, and recommendations

Current information can change quickly. Search summaries may omit context, and links or prices may be outdated. Recommendations are general and may not fit your health, budget, location, preferences, or legal situation.

Third-party products, websites, and services are not controlled by TrustyTommy.

10. Generated images and writing

Generated content may contain mistakes, stereotypes, unexpected elements, or material similar to content created for others. Review it before sharing or publishing. You are responsible for avoiding deception, infringement, defamation, privacy violations, and other unlawful use.

11. Memory and reminder limitations

TrustyTommy may forget, misremember, duplicate, or incorrectly summarize a saved detail. Browser changes, cleared site data, provider failures, or system changes may interrupt continuity.

Do not use Tommy as the only record of appointments, medication, legal deadlines, financial obligations, emergency contacts, or other critical information.

12. Family Care Connection

Family Care Connection is a proposed future concept unless a feature is expressly identified as live. It is not a medical device, home-monitoring system, professional care-management service, or emergency-alert system.

No caregiver should assume that silence means a person is safe, that an AI confirmation proves a task was completed, or that the Service will detect a problem.

13. Your responsibility

You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, communications, purchases, filings, and use of output. Use reasonable judgment, seek human review when stakes are meaningful, and stop using the Service when it is not appropriate for the situation.
