This Cookie Notice explains how TrustyTommy uses cookies and browser storage.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Browser storage, sometimes called local storage, allows a website to save information on a device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, and server logs.

2. How TrustyTommy uses them

Essential identity and continuity

TrustyTommy uses a first-party browser identifier so Tommy can recognize a returning browser, continue onboarding, retrieve saved personalization, and avoid treating the same user as brand new on every visit.

The identifier cookie may remain for up to 365 days and may be renewed when you return. Related browser storage may remain until you or the browser removes it.

Disabling or clearing this information can cause Tommy to stop recognizing you on that browser. It does not necessarily delete information stored in TrustyTommy’s systems.

Preferences and interface state

Browser storage may remember onboarding completion, interface state, recent local conversation context, and other preferences needed for a smoother experience.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics or similar analytics to understand visits, page use, device categories, and feature engagement. Analytics providers may set cookies or receive device and usage information.

Security and operations

TrustyTommy and its hosting, conversational, storage, form, and security providers may use cookies, identifiers, and logs to deliver the Service, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, balance traffic, and protect systems.

3. What we do not currently use

We do not currently use private TrustyTommy conversations or saved memories to select third-party advertisements. We do not currently place cross-site advertising cookies through the core TrustyTommy chat experience.

4. Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent personalization and continuity.

You can also use browser privacy settings or an analytics-blocking tool to limit analytics. Analytics controls are separate from the essential TrustyTommy identity used to remember you.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. Where applicable law requires recognition of a supported opt-out preference signal for a covered activity, we will respond as required.

5. Changes

We may update this Notice when our technology or providers change. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.

6. Contact

Questions about cookies or browser memory may be sent to tommy@trustytommy.com.
